As my husband and I hiked the mountain trails of California, many different kinds of pinecones we came across really caught our attention. We were thoroughly captivated by this small piece of nature’s beauty and mathematical precision. Upon researching the pinecone’s patterned spirals with its Fibonacci sequence and sorted Mystic powers, our interest developed. Between Rob (the science guy), and me (the artist), we started to experiment with our own surplus of backyard pinecones. Many months later of trial and error, getting just the right cuts, lamination formulas, and adornments, we’ve turned these unique wonders of nature into exquisite wearable designs. With the embellishments of Healing stones, wire-wrapping, beadwork and luminescence, we’ve proudly created Pine’s Eye Designs for everyone to wear and share in the splendor of these fascinating pinecones.
