Kingmaker is a resource partner targeting successful local programs with a proven track record, strong leadership and future vision. The programs we partner with can sustain themselves locally and are not dependent on outside aid to continue their basic functioning. Kingmaker avoids the model of charity which fosters dependency. We are committed to partnership to assist successful programs to grow and expand. We follow the empowerment model, supporting capacity building and assisting in building infrastructure. All of our programs are directed by local leaders who live in the communities we serve. The key word is “partnership.”
