"I was stressing, so I began making pottery." Engaging & tactile, functional & artistic, Imperfect Tense Pottery loves being handled with thoughtful intent. I use iterations of Kurinuki—hollowing and carving a solid lump of clay without a wheel, coils, etc.—to create most pieces. I apply glazes with consideration for shape, texture, and color, and all pieces are food-safe unless noted. This intensive, intimate attention creates objects imbued with texture and feeling, with process embodied in product. Each piece is unique.
