Jason discusses the true nature of witches and witchcraft. Today, many people tend to have a bastardized view on the subject of witchcraft and the those who practice it due to many misconceptions brought about by the the “European Witch Hysteria”, the “New Age Wave” of the 1960’s, the “Satanic Panic” of the 1980’s, and today’s Pop Culture and current Social Media fad. This lecture covers a brief history of Cultural and Genetic Witchcraft, the Hereditary Witch, Misconceptions from the New Age Movement, the Satanic Panic and more. The Olde Ways of the craft are still alive and well. Jason hopes to educate the public about the true nature and purpose of traditional practice and those who practice it, while at the same time attempting to dispel the many different misconceptions that have obstructed the way people perceive it.
