Kerry Jehanne

Kerry will be sharing about her experiences with a false-shaman who was not only engaged in sexual predation, but actually practicing energetic manipulation while people were participating in plant medicine ceremonies. Kerry wrote about her experiences in her book, “The Devil’s Yoga: A Woman's Journey from Entrapment to Freedom.” She believes it is imperative to know the light and dark sides of plant medicine ceremonies because false-shamans who engage in energetic manipulation, shamanic sorcery, and sexual predation do exist. These terms might sound extreme to many who have experienced miraculous healings using plant medicines such as ayahuasca. Yet, more and more information has been uncovered about the shadow side of sacred ceremonies. Kerry will share examples of groupthink, energetic grooming, and sexual predation so we can better identify these complexities playing out within different contexts. She hopes that, in our awareness, we can transform and transcend these levels of consciousness and live to our highest potential, individually and collectively.
